Matching Pets with People
About us
We are a 501c3 all volunteer animal rescue who specializes in cats. Rescue Me RCHS has been operatiing and incorporated since March 2006. We have taken in thousands of cats and kittens since we were founded along with a few dogs from time to time. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/Leukemia prior to adoption. Many come in poor health and need medical or social attention as well as fresh food and water, litter, clean bedding and TLC. We depend on the kindness of volunteers, fosters and board members to keep up with the growth over the past few years. Our cats/kittens are loved and cherished by Rescue Me. We ADOPT (not sell) cats and kittens. This process requires application where references are checked, then if approved a contract that ensures the proper care of animals. The adoption fee is considered a donation and returns into the rescue for the care of next cat/kitten. We encourage and teach methods of lifetime commitment just as one would a family member. We want what is best for our adoptees and work to help make the adjustment smooth and enjoyable. If for any reason the adoptor or adoptee cannot stay together, we require they come back to us rather than end up at a shelter, tossed outside or worst yet dumped in the country.

Spay and Neuter
Spay Neuter

We need your help promoting the Pet Friendly license plate. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles changed the URL for the Pet Friendly License Plate, so the old URL no longer works.

Why is it important?

Increased plate sales lead to additional spay/neuter certificates, additional lives saved, and increased awareness for our shared passion to have every Indiana shelter become zero kill! Please help us help you by promoting the wonderful Pet Friendly license plate. You can also promote the plate on social media and in your newsletters.

To simplify the process of getting a Pet Friendly plate, they have created a new micro website:

http://www.PetFriendlyPlate.org

This site explains how to find the plate on the BMV's website and the importance of the plate to Indiana's cats and dogs.

My name’s JK Rawlings and I’m a very special kitty available for adoption at the Noblesville Petsmart. As you can probably see from the pictures, I lost an eye due to infection. That doesn’t make me any less adorable or undeserving of a loving forever family. I’m very sweet once you get to know, but because of all the eye meds and the surgery I’ve had to have, I’m a little shy, but once you get to know me and love me and I get to know and love you, you’ll find I just love and want nothing more than to be loved. I’m already spayed, current on all vaccines and have tested negative for FIV/FLV. Due to my medical costs, Rescue Me RCHS has already spent over $300 on making sure I was healthy and ready for adoption, BUT you can make me a part of your forever family for just $75, which also includes access to Rescue Me with any questions or concerns!! All the commotion and activity in stores is a bit stressful, so I cannot wait to find my forever home. I do fine with other cats, older dogs, and older children- I can get nervous when I'm picked up.
